Champion’s experience with tailoring compressed air packages from the ground has helped us meet the most demanding applications in the marine industry. Providing compressors onboard for large container and AHTS vessels, we have tailored solutions that require more powerful compressors yet still have limited space.

Completing over 100 air compressor builds for Tanabe, our compressors feature a gutsy 35 per cent increased output capacity, within a footprint just 15 per cent larger than Champion’s original specification. Designed for 6.0 bar applications, these specialised 75 kW and 110 kW compressors are based on Champion’s popular range of rotary screw compressors. The key customised features are compactness and durability, including a special polyurethane powder coating on all external surfaces to handle salt-laden marine environments.
